'Fringe fans, pull out your magnifying glasses: It's time to analyze the cryptic new promotional images Fox has created to help launch the sci-fi saga's fourth season, premiering on Sept. 23. Each shot features a cast member either on a curving pathway or on the steps of some ziggurat-like structure. In the background: a structure (Fringe division's Harvard HQ?) trapped in a bubble embedded with near-subliminal triangles. Above: blue sky and puffy clouds. My Doc Jensen brain whirs with possibilities.

I see encoded allusions to Stephen King's Under the Dome, multiverse or ''bubble universe'' conjecture (also see: chaotic inflation theory), the surrealist paintings of Salvador Dalí and René Magritte, and, of course, the Celestial Sphere of the Great Pyramid. (Look it up! I'm sure it explains everything. That, and The Dark Tower, too.) You'll notice actor Seth Gabel in the mix; look for his once-recurring character, Agent Lincoln Lee, to get more screen time this season. We should brace for a terrifically trippy season that'll play with notions of reality, eternity, and all of Fringe history as we know it. There are some of these in HQ at SpoilerTV, as well and without watermarks. Hopefully they will all be in HQ soon. They also released Walternate and altOlivia but seeing as how I don't like them I didn't care. Tbh I'm mad I've not heard about the rest of the alternates. Where's altAstrid, altBroyles, Lincoln, etc? Like okaaaaaaay if you're gonna do a photo shoot, include all the alts? Seems really unfair.

Also Peacoat P/O power, booyah!

BUT ANYWAY. This is me summing up Fringe S4 right now.

Maybe they'll come out later but I was excited enough with just the Blueverse people and then only some of the redverse? Ummmmmmmmmmmm. Not that I'm a redverse fan, but I'm trying to think subjectively here. And then there was that press release for 4x01, also there's 4x01 HQ pics at SpoilerTV, too. But I'm still ridic excited, I just hope the press release only has once aspect of the premiere, they can't say anything else because it'd ruin the episode if you knew what happened? They've been quite tight-lipped about s4 and seeing as how we've barely had promos with more than 10 seconds of new footage and 3 weeks before S4 we're finally getting pictures that don't really spoil anything tbh...gah I hope this lifts after 4x01 airs and we see more promos/spoilers/pics, etc.

Yeah, I'm kinda depressed by the lack of Charlie. I just miss him so much :( I know, our Charlie has been dead for a while, but Scarlie should be included!!!

Well Kirk is really busy being a lead in the upcoming Prime Suspect, so he mentioned maybe being able to work in 4 or 5 eps if his schedule freed up and the writers wrote something for Charlie/Scarlie...but that's filmed in NYC I believe so he probably couldn't even take the time to fly out to Vancouver for the photoshoot. But I have hope he will try his best to come back if he can!

EXACTLY! We only really saw her during the last few episodes of season three, scattered throughout seasons 1 and 2. I love her character and can't imagine what her alt version is like.

ahhhh I was so excited to see him included among the other regulars that I neglected to notice that super important detail, haha. Hopefully we'll see both, but perhaps OurVerse Lincoln will be the primary Lincoln we see.

Oh they only did Walternate and altOlivia :/ I'm still waiting for the others.............But you can see all the Blueverse and those two if you want here, super gigantic HQ and no watermarks.
